The spirit of celebration was alive for EMS at the Herefordshire Business Awards 2025, held on Saturday 18th October at The Paddocks Hotel, Symonds Yat. Hosted by Herefordshire Means Business and powered by allpay Limited, the evening brought together over 200 of the county’s entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders to recognise the incredible achievements shaping Herefordshire’s economy.
EMS was crowned winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award 2025. This prestigious accolade was selected from all entries across every category, highlighting EMS’s exceptional contribution to professional services and the local business community.
The awards, hosted by Herefordshire Means Business and powered by allpay Limited, brought together over 200 of the county’s entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders. Hosted by ITV’s Matt Teale, the ceremony recognised excellence across 17 categories, from new and growing ventures to established leaders, innovators, and community champions.
Managing Director Jamie Perkins-Best expressed his gratitude, saying he was genuinely shocked and humbled to receive the award. He thanked Herefordshire Means Business, the judges, local peers, and especially the EMS team, highlighting that the recognition reflects the dedication of his team and the support of the Herefordshire business community over EMS’s 20+ years of service.
“This award feels like recognition from our local peers. I am proud of my team and what EMS has achieved in over 20 years of business,” Jamie added.
Founded in 2003, EMS is Herefordshire’s only UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy and has grown into a multi-department environmental consultancy with offices in Hereford, Worcester, Cardiff, and London.
