Non Licensed Asbestos Removal
EMS offer all levels of asbestos removal services. Our in-house asbestos removal teams undertake work categorised as non-licensed work. We are permitted to safely handle and remove almost all asbestos containing materials (ACMs),including asbestos cement, vinyl & bitumen products, textured coatings and textiles. EMS also undertake notifiable, non-licensed work (NNLW) and can advise on whether it is required. 'Notifiable non-licensed asbestos removal' (NNLW) has additional employer responsibilities, including notification to the HSE and operatives will need medical surveillance and records will need to be kept for 40 years.
Licensed Asbestos Removal
EMS work with our partners to provide the removal of higher risk asbestos-containing materials. These higher-risk materials are more likely to release asbestos fibres when disturbed or being removed,
EMS can arrange, supervise or project manage large or licensed projects. We can also provide the analysts to undertake air testing and four stage clearances.
